These patterned snoods are inspired by the local Caernarfon Welsh tapestry pattern.

Dubbed the “Cofi Snood” here at Rumdoodles, they are a perennial favourite with both customers and staff.

Local crafty genius Jenny personally knits, links, stamps and sews each snood from her little work shop here in North Wales. They are knitted on a retro 1980’s domestic punch card knitting machine and completed with a hand stamped, natural cotton Wren logo label.

  • 100% Merino wool (spun and dyed “locally” in Yorkshire).
  • Soft, warm, breathable & naturally odour resistant.
  • Due to the nature of wool, hand washing is advised.

Locals know that “Cofi” is a shortened description of anything or anyone from Caernarfon. Visitors often get flummoxed into thinking it has something to do with coffee, which we also love and sell (spelt “coffi” in Welsh – learn your f’s and ff’s!). So, it ends up being the perfect product for us! Local, hand-made, ridiculously renamed, quality merino wool, slightly confusing, a great price, and bloody nice to wear. Strewth!

The olive and honey coloured Snoods are knit using super fine lambs wool and merino wool. So still buttery soft, don’t worry.
